Bowie-Cass Electric Cooperative proudly announces its 2024 scholarship recipients, with a total of $8,000 awarded to five outstanding students. These scholarships, funded by unclaimed capital credit refunds, underscore BCEC’s dedication to fostering educational development within the community.
Hannah Vissering of Paul H. Pewitt High School is awarded the top scholarship of $4,000 for her exceptional academic achievements and community involvement. Additional $1,000 scholarships have been awarded to Sophia Greer (Linden-Kildare High School), Isabella McKinney (Hughes Springs High School), Gerson Mendoza (DeKalb High School), and Amori Shelling (Atlanta High School), who have all distinguished themselves through their impressive academic and extracurricular pursuits.
