A familiar downtown New Boston business is changing hands and names. S&P Discount will soon become “Barfield’s Home and Supply, - Where Most People Trade and Everyone Saves,” according to the new owner, Andrea Barfield.

The store originally started by Barfield’s mother, Scarlett Barfield Bray specializes in quality home goods like small appliances and furniture all brand new, all at a discounted price, and will keep its same mission and format.

Barfield says the new name and slogan have deep roots in New Boston.
