New commander joins efforts at RRAD

Col. Denis Fajardo was welcomed to Red River Army Depot as the 45th commander during the change of command ceremony Thursday morning.

Fajardo joined RRAD with 30 years of Army experience. His most recent assignment was in Washington, D.C., office of enterprise management as logistics domain chief for all enterprise systems.

“Red River Army Depot is rich in tradition and deep in accomplishments, not to mention its tremendous impact in repetition. And I can only hope to be a small part of continuing that tradition in excellence. We will focus on production, people and safety,” Fajardo said.
