This past week my church got to work with the Fearfully and Wonderfully made ministry. This ministry helps families/ mothers with babies in the NICU. They provide them with Blessing Bags consisting of items to help the mothers while they are at the hospital with their babies long days and nights. There are also sibling bags that are provided. We got to help pack these bags!
This ministry is TRULY AMAZING!
If your children are born with no struggles or problems,THAT IS AWESOME!
PRAISE GOD! But some people have babies who have to go to the NICU, which is for babies who are premature or have extreme health issues. That is the last thing any mother wants to hear! This ministry helps these families and mothers know that they are not alone and the LOVE OF GOD IS WITH THEM!
How can you apply this to your life? When you see people who are struggling or someone you know is really struggling right now YOU CAN SHOW THEM THE LOVE OF GOD! BE THE LIGHT INTO THEIR LIFE, SHOW THEM GOD LOVES THEM AND HAS NOT FORSAKEN THEM! GOD wants us to show CHRISTlike actions everyday! If you would like to get involved in mission work from your own town and community or across the world! DO IT! SHOW THE LIGHT AND LOVE OF GOD! NEED A CHURCH? FBC DEKALB IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! 9:30-Small group, 10:45- Worship! SEE YOU THERE!!!

Harper Sparks is the 11 year old daughter of James and Mindy Sparks. She is an incoming 6th grader at James L Germany Middle School in DeKalb, Texas. She enjoys serving in her church through Bible school, children’s events, and church camps. She is the reigning Young Miss DeKalb and enjoys serving her community. Harper has one sister, Presley and a brother Whitt. She loves cheering on her Bears and Ouachita Tigers where Whitt plays football. She is a loyal friend and a life-long learner. She loves to read, write, and swim!
