The Boston Masonic Lodge #69 presented Chase Crook, a 2024 New Boston High School graduate, with the Mirabeau B. Lamar Award of Excellence for Outstanding Achievement Thursday. The award came with a $2,000 scholarship. Crook will be entering his freshman year at University of Central Arkansas in the fall where he will study for a major in survey engineering.
