For 70 years, the New Boston Round Up Club has been providing the area with local rodeo entertainment.
The Round Up Club formed in 1954. That same year, they held their first rodeo at the Bowie County Fairgrounds. The following year, the rodeo moved to its permanent home on Farm to Market 992.
“We just try to make this city proud to have a rodeo. So many small rodeos have gone by the wayside,” said Kim Crumpton.
