Authorities say they are still searching for a suspect in the December shooting that injured a child in his New Boston home.
The shooting happened about 10:30 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023. About 35 shots were fired into a home in the 900 block of East Lion Drive. Grayson Sears, then 7-years-old, was struck by a bullet that came through the wall.
Grayson was treated in the hospital for non-life threatening injuries from the bullet lodged in his buttocks. He has since returned to school and life as an upcoming third grade student at Crestview Elementary.
