The Pirates from James Bowie will start this season as the Tribune’s pick to win District 9-2A Div. 2 over a tough challenge from their down the road rival in Maud, and a strong Celeste team.
The Pirates have won this district the last couple of years and look for them to make it a three-peat.
They will try to do that with AD and Head Coach Chance Blackburn’s Slot-T offense and a team that is filled with young players.
