Remembering September 11

It doesn’t matter how many years pass, for those of us who lived through it, we haven’t forgotten. Odds are we will never forget, and I hope we don’t, and I hope for many generations to come that September 11, 2001 and what happened that day, is never forgotten.

Thousands of lives were taken that day. Millions more, all across the globe, were changed forever.

We killed Osama Bin Laden. We have killed other terrorist leaders and hundreds of others for what happened that day. We have inserted our country into wars on other lands, and enforced laws and endured restrictions on our freedoms because of what happened that day.
