ANew Boston woman was recognized for her years of service to children of Bowie County during Monday morning’s regular meeting of the Bowie County Commissioners Court.
Sue Anderson began serving on the Bowie County Child Welfare Board in 1984. After 40 years of service, she officially retired.
“Many of us have served with her over the years and we owe her a ton of gratitude for all the things that she has done … She trained all of us to follow in her mighty big footsteps,” said Darla Dike, chair of the BCCWB.
