The RRCU Gives Foundation is thrilled to announce its first distribution of grants, totaling $50,000, to 22 agencies across four states within the credit union’s field of membership. These grants are part of the Foundation’s commitment to supporting initiatives that address critical needs in the areas of Housing, Hunger, and Education.
The RRCU Gives Foundation was established to enhance the community impact of RRCU by providing financial support to organizations and programs that align with its three core pillars: Housing, Hunger, and Education. Each grant recipient was carefully selected based on their proven track record and the potential impact of their initiatives within these focus areas.
“We are excited to launch the RRCU Gives Foundation with this initial round of grant funding,” said Patricia Cunningham, Director of the RRCU Gives Foundation. “Our mission is to support organizations that are making meaningful contributions to their communities, and we believe that investing in housing, hunger relief, and education is crucial to building a stronger, healthier future for everyone.”
