Helen Marie Hammonds Bradford, 76 of Simms, Texas passed away Friday, September 13, 2024 in a local Hospice Facility. Mrs.
Bradford was born October 4, 1947 in Naples, Texas to George and Mollie Hammonds. She was the Volunteer Director of Personal Touch Food Pantry, Simms, Texas and Retired Receiving Manager with Target.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Simms, Texas and is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Doris Jones and brothers, J.D. Hammonds, Curtis Hammonds, Travis Hammonds, Billy Hammonds, George ‘Junior’ Hammonds and Henry Hammonds.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Bradford of Simms, Texas, a daughter and son in law, Kelly and Kevin Burns of Redwater, Texas, son and daughter in law, David and Mindi Spears of Simms, Texas, grandson, Sam Spears and granddaughter Karsyn Burns, sisters, Linda Hammonds Spears and husband Ralph of Garland, Texas, Mildred Pauline Mobley of Ore City, Texas, sisters in law, Beatrice Hammonds, Isabelle Hammonds, Betty Hammonds, Mina Hammonds and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Calvary Baptist Church, Simms, Texas with Bro. Brant Allen and Bro. James Strain officiating. Interment will be in Old Union Cemetery, Simms, Texas under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston. Visitation will be Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
