To Mindi Spears, being an elementary school educator is where she knows she belongs.
“Everybody has their seat on the bus and elementary is my seat,” she said. “My favorite thing is the love they give. They just love you for you.”
Spears is starting her 27th year as an elementary school teacher. She presently serves as the interventionist at James Bowie Elementary School.
