New Boston Police Department is still searching for the second suspect in a July shooting that left two teens dead.
Rondarrius “DaeDae” Evans, 20, is wanted for two counts of murder in connection with the deaths of Princeton Washington and Nicholas Webster, both 19. The teens were shot outside the Dogwood Plaza Apartments in New Boston on July 6. Washington died at the scene. Webster died in a Texarkana hospital 11 days later.
The warrants for Evans were issued in August after the investigators received further information that pointed to Evans’ involvement in the homicides, Sgt. Rick Boone told the Tribune. A second suspect, Malaki Beckham, 19, of New Boston, was arrested and charged with two counts of capital murder for the shooting deaths. He is being held at the Bi-State Justice Building on a $3 million bond.
