What is often known as “The Old Corner Store,” or “The Flashing Light,” or most recently, “Epperson Fireworks,” took a direct hit in the tornado that devastated so many in the area.
Meagan Epperson says her family is trying to stay positive while starting over.
“Friday evening we were at our home in Maud watching the weather closely like everyone else,” said Epperson. “We were expecting it to hit more towards our house than our office in New Boston.”
