With just two games left on the district schedule, the Lady Lions look to close out the regular season with a district championship. Going into last night’s game with the Lady Rabbs of Atlanta, the ladies from new Boston were perfect in district play and looking like they could make a deep run into the postseason playoff brackets.
This past week, the Lady Lions knocked off Liberty- Eylau on Tuesday, and followed that with a huge win over a tough Queen City squad on Friday.
On Tuesday, the Lady Lions were paced by Makayla Bell and Bo Hurst. Bell was in beast mode at the net with 15 kills and a block to go along with seven service aces. Hurst fueled the New Boston effort with 18 assists and five digs, and a pair of service aces of her own.
