Regular season football action is winding down in district play with playoff spots up for grabs each week.
Last Friday saw the New Boston Lions and the Hooks Hornets battle for one of those coveted playoff bracket spots and the two squads put on a show.
The two teams combined for 74 points and over 1,000 yards of offense with the Lions holding off a late charge by the Hornets to earn the win by a final score of 4133.
