The Lady Lions of New Boston earned a win over the Hooks Lady Hornets on Friday and with that win claimed the district championship.
Going into their match at Redwater Tuesday night, even a loss would still see the Lady Lions as the undisputed district champ with just two losses with DeKalb in second place already with three losses.
The district standings and playoff seeds should be set today after DeKalb’s match with Hooks last night and the results of third place Atlanta’s match with Queen City.
