The DeKalb Bears, New Boston Lions, Hooks Hornets, Maud Cardinals and James Bowie Pirates all found their way into the postseason brackets after successful district season and each entered into the Bi-District round of the Texas UIL Football playoffs this past week.
The Bears finished their district season as the undefeated district champions and the Maud Cardinals also ended their district schedule unbeaten and as district champions.
The New Boston Lions claimed the 3rd place seed in the postseason and the Hornets took the 4th spot in their district and paved their way into bracket play.
