Making the decision to parent a child in foster care is a huge step and For the Sake of One has made it a mission to help the transition.
“Our mission is to share God’s love with local children and families before, during and after foster care by walking alongside them on their healing journey,” said Angela Coston, executive director of For the Sake of One.
“We support the children but even more than that, we support all of the adults who touch the children’s lives. Whether that is case workers or foster parents or adoptive parents or struggling biological parents or educators, all of the people that touch children’s lives, we support them to try to build healthier families so that we can have a healthier future for children.”
