The DeKalb Bears saw their spectacular 2024 football season come to an end last Friday with a 42-12 loss to the Woodville Eagles at Lion Stadium in Henderson.
The loss ended a season that saw the Bears break break records and exceed preseason expectations.
The Bears were undefeated in district play and the undisputed district champion and saw wins in the postseason brackets including a 64-22 win over Lone Oak in the Bi-District round and a 40-34 , four overtime win over Troup in the Area round.
