The rain subsided and residents lined downtown to watch the annual New Boston Christmas Parade Sunday evening. This year’s theme was Miracle on Highway 82.
Community organizations and businesses showed off their Christmas spirit by decking their vehicles and trailers out in lights and decorations to parade through downtown all on the journey to lead Santa to the yearly tree lighting and photos with families.
The Grinch also made an appearance. The pavilion was also turned into a Christmas market for a Sip and Shop complete with cookies and hot chocolate available. The Sip and Shop allowed local merchants display their wares and encourage shoppers to buy local during the holiday season.
