The best gifts under the tree?

Christmas is about gifts.

As much as the trends and catchphrases this time of year are about Jesus is the Reason for the Season or Keep Christ in Christmas, or any of the others, Christmas is about gifts.

There is no greater joy I think than watching your little children walk bleary eyed into the living room before sunrise on Christmas morning and see all of the gifts under the tree. What follows is a frenzy of activity filled with laughter, screams and sometimes even tears. Those few minutes on Christmas morning rivals just about any other time of happiness in my book. Giving a pile of gifts to your kids, or maybe just a couple of “big” ones, makes everyone happy.
