The Hooks Lady Hornets and the James Bowie Lady Pirates both entered the UIL high school basketball playoffs this week as the undisputed district champion in their respective districts.
The Lady Hornets entered the Bi-District round Monday night versus the ladies from New Diana who finished the regular season as the runner-up in 13-3A.
The Lady Pirates took their unbeaten 16-2A district record into the postseason brackets Monday night with a Bi-District matchup with 15-2A runner- up North Hopkins.
