After both earned Bi-District championships in the first round of the state playoffs, the Hooks Lady Hornets and the DeKalb Lady Bears each saw their winning seasons come to an end last week with losses in the second round.
In their Bi-District Championship wins, the Lady Hornets demolished New Diana by a score of 86-26. The Lady Bears earned their Bi-District Championship in a game that went down to the final seconds as they beat Harmony by a score of 37-36.
In the Area round, the Lady Hornets battled to to the last second but were taken out of the playoffs with a 55-45 loss to the Tatum Lady Eagles.
