A DeKalb woman is leaving her mark in her hometown one paint stroke at a time.
“I just had a dream one night and decided I was going to post that I would like to start painting murals. I thought if I could just paint one, I would be so happy,” said Ashley Tuppen.
For the 25-year-old DeKalb native, that Facebook post from September 2023 sparked a journey that would allow her to turn her art into a career.
