Bowie County Commissioners vote in smoke-free policy In a relatively short meeting Monday, Bowie County Commissioners voted to clear the air - making their bi-monthly decision making less “hazy.” With only one opposing vote, commissions have put a smoking ban on most county buildings. After increasing pressure from both visitors and employees, all Justice of the Peace and Bowie County Courthouse offices will be smoke-free.
