Local coaches met Wednesday night and decided on the 13AAA Girl’s All District selections. With New Boston’s Lady Lions going undefeated in last season’s district play, it’s not surprising to see New Boston walk away with three of the four top honors. New Boston’s Larry Martin was named Coach of the Year, while the Lion’s Carolyn Conkleton was awarded Most Valuable Player. Melanie Jones, also of the Lions, was named Defensive Player of the Year. In boy’s All District, the Clarksville Blue Tigers walked away with most of the honors, the exception being Hooks Sophomore Danyell Wyse, who was named Newcomer of the Year.
