The DeKalb Lady Bears continued to be the hottest team in local softball last week, taking their district record to 5-0 on Friday with a 10-1 win over the visiting Queen City Lady Bulldogs.
The Lady Bears were fueled by an all-star performance from Addison Starrett who drove in five runs including a three-run dinger in the 6th inning.
Four other Lady Bears had RBI’s in the contest including Caylin Corbett, Kaydee Brown, TT Ingram and Mackenzye Carpenter.
