Bowie County Master Gardeners & Texas A&M – Texarkana Present: “Getting Started with Tomatoes, Peppers, & Eggplant
The Bowie County Master Gardeners and Texas A&M-Texarkana’s School of Professional Education and Community Engagement will host the program “Getting Started with Tomatoes, Peppers, & Eggplant” on Monday, April 14, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM. The class is free and open to the public. The class will take place in the University Building, Room 326. No reservation is required
The program will be presented by Dr. Joe Masabni, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Professor and Vegetable Specialist located at the AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Dallas. Masabni is an expert in all areas of gardening and conducts smallfarm vegetable research at the Dallas Center. Tomatoes and peppers are some of the most often planted vegetable crops in the warm season home garden. Eggplant are another crop that is gaining in popularity among gardeners.
