While pregnant with her second son, Kash, Heather Roberts dreamed of all the wonderful experiences she would get to revisit all over again. From his first words to the cuddles only a mother gets from her baby boy to hearing “I love you” for the first time, she was ready for it all.
However, soon after his first birthday, Roberts started having concerns about Kash’s development.
“I started getting worried about him when he turned one and wasn’t even crawling … He wouldn’t say ‘Mama’ or ‘Dada’ like kids do when they’re little. He wouldn’t make eye contact,” Roberts said.
