Thirty Years Ago-1995
April 9, 1995
Friday, March 31st, Mr. James L. Germany’s Sixth grade Social Studies Club journeyed to a different kind of classroom. They spent the day at Red River Army Depot in H.E.A.R.T.S. Training. Sixteen students and three adults spent the day learning about Honesty, Ethics, Accountability, Respect, Trust, and Support by expanding comfort zones, making best value decisions, relying on teamwork, and celebrating the success of their teammates. The students were challenged by these learning opportunities by climbing the 30 foot pole and the 50 foot tower of power.
