The Texas Department of Public Safety has added a New Boston murder suspect to their 10 Most Wanted List and a reward up to $5,000 is now being offered for information that leads to his arrest.
Rondarrius Davon “Dae-Dae” Evans, 21, has been wanted out of Bowie County since August 2024 for two counts of capital murder for his alleged involvement in a double homicide that occurred on July 6, 2024 in New Boston.
Evans is wanted on two counts of murder in the deaths of Princeton Washington and Nicholas Webster, both 19, said Sgt. Rick Boone of the New Boston Police Department.
The two teens were found with gunshot wounds outside the Dogwood Plaza Apartments in the 300 block of North Lindsey Street. Washington was pronounced dead at the scene. Webster was transported to a Texarkana hospital where he underwent surgery and was placed in the intensive care unit. He died from his injuries 12 days later.
Malaki Beckham was also charged with two counts of capital murder in the two deaths.
Beckham allegedly fired the fatal shots then fled the scene. He was arrested three days later in Red River County.
Evans surrendered to authorities at the scene but was released at the time because of a lack of evidence. He was later arrested in Mt. Pleasant on unrelated domestic charges but was released from custody before the warrant could be secured by NBPD.
Evans is 6 feet tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He has ties to the Northeast Texas area, including Bowie, Camp, Titus, Franklin and Morris counties.
Anyone with information into the whereabouts of Evans is asked to contact NBPD at 903-628-3771.
