The Hooks Lady Hornets stayed on fire last week in local softball action as they took down the Atlanta Lady Rabbs on Tuesday and followed that up by downing the New Boston Lady Lions 25-1 on Friday.
In Friday’s contest, Zoey Greenwood was the big stick for Hooks as she hit for the cycle, including a pair of homeruns, and drove in nine runs.
McKinley Peschel had a solo homerun for the Lady Lions.
