The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual banquet Saturday night at the DeKalb ISD main gym and handed out their annual awards. The event was catered by GameChangers BBQ and the live auction was directed by master auctioneer Lakin Oakley.
Award recipients this year included Mike and Carolyn McCrary as the Heart of the Community Award recipients, Nor-Tex Tractor as the Business of the Year, Robbie Barret at the Citizen of the Year, Aaron Calvit was named the Alumni of the Year, and DeKalb EDC was recognized as the Organization of the Year.
