Redwater Junior High 8th grade student, Ashlin McRight, had her artwork selected to be part of the 2024-2025 Texas Art Education Association’s Youth Art Month Exhibition. This exhibition showcases Pre-K through 12th grade student works of art from across the state of Texas at the Bullock Texas State History Museum during the month of March for Youth Art Month. The exhibit is featured on their website.
Ashlin’s art was 1 of 179 pieces that were selected from over 600 submissions.
Ashlin participated in an awards ceremony on Sunday, March 9 held in Austin, Texas on the Third Floor Rotunda of the Bullock State History Museum in which she received a certificate of achievement and was draped with a medal.
