Trailhead Pavilion is getting a facelift, as voted on by the New Boston City Council at their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 18, 2022.
Roll-up doors will be installed on the entire perimeter of the pavilion, paid for with sponsorship funds already spoken for. Further upgrades will be made to the existing electrical boxes in Trailhead Park.
Along with the new look, the council voted unanimously for a 90day trial run of the sale of wrist bands to individuals providing their own alcoholic beverages to be consumed within the Entertainment District. The Entertainment District consists of the entirety of Trailhead Park. In further explanation, events allowing writst band sales will not be “family events” but rather concerts and additional events that will be possible with the enclosure of the pavilion. These events will also be contingent on the approval of the City Administrator.
