Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” (NKJV)
How much more attainable do you think your God-given destiny would be if Philippians 4:8 was your lifestyle. I want to challenge you to take a season of your life and do not allow yourself to think of anything negative about your God-given destiny. Don’t try to talk yourself out of doing anything that God has placed in your heart. Do not focus on why something will not work. Do not look at the past when adventures or plans failed, instead look at the word of God and move forward.
What if in every situation and area of your life you lived by the truth of Philippians 4:8? What if you decided in every circumstance, situation and opportunity you would only focus on the things that were true, noble, just, pure, lovely, of good report and praiseworthy? How would this change your outlook on life? We can adopt this mindset of always looking at the positive versus the negative. We must understand that everything that we go through truly makes us stronger. Every trial makes us wiser and more equipped to facilitate everything God destined us to accomplish.
