Three local teams from 10-3A softball have won Bi-District championships and advanced to the next round of the state playoffs. The DeKalb Lady Bears, the Hooks Lady Hornets and the Redwater Lady Dragons all won their first round matchups and are looking ahead this week to new foes.
After ending the regular season knotted up as co-district champions with Hooks, the Lady Bears first won their seeding game with the Lady Hornets by a score of 4-2 to enter the postseason as the top seed.
They wasted no time dispatching the Harmony Eagles, winning two straight to advance.
