The Avery Lady Bulldogs advanced to the Regional Finals round of the state playoffs on Friday with a thrilling 16-15 win over the Bloomburg Lady Wildcats.
The Lady Bulldogs jumped out early with a 7-1 lead after three innings, but Bloomburg answered back with an eight run 4th to take a 9-7 lead.
The Lady Wildcats added to their lead with two more runs in the 5th and three more in the 6th to take a commanding 14-7 lead, but the ladies from Avery were not done.
