Recently, the splash pad was opened in Tapp Park. Our children, now during the summer months, have an awesome quality of life asset to enjoy. This was a partnership with the Special Industrial Development Corporation (SIDC) and the City of New Boston.
The SIDC and Community Development Corporation (CDC) currently are developing a logo for our organizations. The importance of a logo is it will provide an icon to share our values, identity and build a synergy. Once adopted, the SIDC and CDC will work to implement ground mounted signage on Interstate 30. By providing ground mounted gateway signs through our community, there will be our unique logo welcoming and standing out in a positive manner to citizens, soon to be citizens/businesses or provide a positive image and welcome to passer-byers or visitors.
