Ida Mae Barrett and Floyd Edwin McMillan were married in DeKalb, Texas on June 18, 1955. Immediately out of high school, both moved to Dallas for jobs. They had and raised their two children, Greg and Tina, there. Once their children were raised, they returned to DeKalb in 1987 where Floyd worked for Red River Army Depot before retiring. Floyd and Ida have traveled extensively together via an RV Motorhome and cruise ships and have thoroughly enjoyed their lives together. Their daughter, Tina Wheeler, would like to wish them a very happy 70th anniversary as they continue to celebrate their love together.
