The Hooks Police Department arrested Jatoria Cleamons (21) on Friday, June 20, 2025 on the charges of Injury to a Child and Manslaughter in connection to the investigation of the death of Cleamon’s eight-monthold son.
According to Hooks Police Chief Johnny Millwood, his officers had been keeping an eye on a house at 100 Kennedy Circle in Hooks. It was at that home where Hooks police had originally responded a week ago. On Friday, an officer noticed a relative of Cleamons at the house and stopped to talk to them. During the conversation the relative told the officer that Cleamons was inside the home.
Cleamons was taken into custody and transported to the Bi-State Jail where she remained at press time with a total bond of $5,500,000.
