Officials say an interrupted burglary led to the shooting deaths of two former prison guards at a home near DeKalb.
The bodies of Donna Culpepper and Charles Beckham were found outside of Beckham’s home outside of DeKalb on Thursday, June 19.
Culpepper and Beckham were former prison guards at the Barry B. Telford Unit near New Boston. Beckham was also a part-time employee at the Clyde M. Johnson unit in Winnsboro.
