Bowie County Master Gardeners & Texas A&M – Texarkana Present: “Gardening for Wildlife”

The Bowie County Master Gardeners and Texas A&M-Texarkana’s School of Professional Education and Community Engagement will host the program “Gardening for Wildlife” on Monday, August 11, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM. The class is free and open to the public. The class will take place in the University Building, Room 326. No reservation is required to attend.

The program will be presented by Mrs. Penny Wilkerson, Wildlife Biologist for Bowie County with Texas Parks and Wildlife.

Come learn some great tips to help you create a garden environment that will attract birds, bees, butterflies, and other native animals to your backyard. Turn your home place into a desirable space with food, water, and shelter that will help native species flourish.
