Proverbs 15:22, “Without counsel plans go astray, but in the multitude of counselors they are established.” (NKJV)
God is faithful to always bring the right counsel alongside you to help steward the destiny that He has placed within you. There are many times in your life when you will have many mentors around you. Then there will be other times when it seems you have none. There can be times you have many peers that are running alongside you. There will be times you will feel you’re running alone. But God always knows what you need in each season. Remember God puts certain people in your life for a reason, a season or lifetime. Many times you will have someone in your life for a reason. These people are there to teach you one specific thing to help you on the road to your destiny. There other times God brings people in your life for a season. Seasonal people are there for you to pick up certain traits or glean from their wisdom. Sometimes you learn what not to do by watching the seasonal people in your life. Then there will be very few people in your life who are with you for a lifetime. These are people who are always there whenever you need them. God will always provide the right wisdom and training you need to accomplish the destiny He has laid before you. It might not always look like you thought it would look but it will always be right. Many times in the natural you will look around and say, “Lord, it seems I have no peers or mentors.” This is a good sign because during these times you will learn to lean on the Holy Spirit for guidance and direction. Sometimes in life we will be in a wilderness or a cave season. These seasons are meant to take things out of our DNA that do not need to be there. Desert seasons will also draw us closer to the things of God. Many times we glean from mentors and friends so much that we neglect the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. Our God wants our time and attention and he will move people out of your life to make sure you stay close to Him. Holy Spirit’s guidance and leading is crucial to our lives. We must seek daily counsel from the Holy Spirit and listen to the right counselors that God has placed in our paths. By using this wisdom, you will complete your God-given destiny.
