It was a busy week for volleyball squads all over the area with tournament play and regular season games.
The ladies from Hooks traveled to Gilmer for their tournament and came out of Thursday play with a pair of wins and a loss, with wins over Jefferson and Pittsburg and a lost to the host team.
Against Jefferson, Sophia Floyd had 11 serving points, Chaning Barber had nine kills and three blocks while Deonna Johnson added six kills. Madison Lewis added eight assists and Keeli Harris had six digs.
