USDA Secretary Rollins to Attend 3rd Annual Women in Agriculture Conference as Special “Invited” Guest, September 9–10 in Fort Worth

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension is proud to announce that U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Rollins, will be the special invited guest at the 3rd Annual Women in Agriculture Conference, taking place September 9–10, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Secretary Rollins, a key member of President Trump’s cabinet, leads the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). In her role, she is responsible for shaping and executing federal policy on food, agriculture, natural resources, rural development, and nutrition. The USDA plays a vital role in supporting the nation’s farmers and ranchers, advancing rural economies, safeguarding the food supply, and promoting sustainable farming practices. Secretary Rollins also leads efforts to strengthen agricultural trade and combat hunger both domestically and around the world.

A native of Glen Rose, Texas, Secretary Rollins brings deep personal and professional ties to the agricultural community. She grew up on her family’s farm and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Development from Texas A&M University. Her lifelong dedication to agriculture and rural advocacy continues to inform her leadership at the national level.

The Women in Agriculture Conference, now in its third year, is inspired by the mission of Annie’s Project and is designed to support, educate, and empower women involved in all aspects of agriculture—from farm and ranch management to agribusiness and agri-leadership roles.

“This conference was created to inspire and equip women to take active, confident roles in today’s evolving agricultural landscape,” said Doyle, conference organizer. “We are honored to welcome Secretary Rol-lins this year. Her presence highlights the critical role women play in agriculture and affirms the importance of investing in their leadership and success.”

The two-day event will feature a diverse lineup of speakers, panel discussions, and workshops focused on leadership development, financial planning, agricultural technology, risk management, and wellness. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with industry experts, network with fellow women in ag, and gain valuable tools to enhance their personal and professional growth.

Registration is open and limited spots are still available. For more information about the agenda, speakers, or how to attend, please visit https://www.eventbrite. com/e/3rd-annual-women- in-ag-conference-tickets- 1273134552719 or email Jacklyn Jones-Doyle at [email protected]. edu.
