It was a clean sweep for our local coverage football squads this past week with all of them looking forward to this Friday to get back in the win column.
After falling to Atlanta last week, the New Boston Lions will play their third straight home game and should definitely post a win as they host Grace Community.
The Cougars were blanked 45-0 by Pittsburg last Friday and despite the loss to Atlanta, New Boston’s standout back Ashton Rowden posted 141 yards on the ground, including a 65-yard TD and you can look for him to have a field day against Grace Community. The Lions passing attack, fueled by sophomore QB Ridge England and wideout Kason Campbell should also see their game get back in gear and score a lot of points.
