The Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisor Association recently named Crestview Elementary’s Samuel Coston as Vice Principal of the year for Region 8.
Each year, TEPSA provides a list of eligible candidates for this award to its members. Those members then vote on the candidate they deem the most deserving. “As far as my reaction goes, I honestly was afraid it was a mistake or an unclear email”, said Coston. “My name was not in the body of the email, and I got the message at the start of a break, so I was kind of in limbo waiting a few days.” “Humor aside, it was a really exciting thing, and a complete honor to win”, Coston explained.
Coston went on to explain why he chose education.
